[Yoimiya cosplay] Genshin Impact's fireworks expert, rocking the venue on her birthday

On the wonderful occasion of Yoimiya's birthday, I'm digging out a set of previously shot convention photos to share with everyone. This time, I attempted to recreate the vitality of the Naganohara Fireworks owner in an indoor real-scene studio. From the wig styling to the tassels on the earrings, I did my best to restore the character details in every aspect of the gear. Especially that custom greatsword prop in my hand—it feels incredibly substantial, giving a great tactile sensation when striking combat poses. The orange and black color-blocking of the jacket is highly eye-catching, and the inner white bandage design perfectly outlines the silhouette during a crouching posture, with the small cherry blossom pattern on the chest being the finishing touch.

During the shoot, the photographer added plenty of fireworks special effects materials, and the on-site lighting effect was pumped up. However, the actual vibe leaned more toward an industrial-style warehouse, giving the overall effect a wonderful sense of contrast like "lighting up fireworks inside a factory plant." To embody the passion and confidence in the character's personality, I chose a low crouching combat-ready stance for the pose, keeping my eyes focused, which transmits the pre-battle tension much better than just standing rigidly. A bit of thought also went into adjusting the holding angle and center of gravity of the prop, and paired with the golden sparks splashing around in the background, the visual impact is completely maxed out.

For convention photos, the image quality and composition of this set are already refined enough to yield great pictures without needing too much post-processing. Although the process of putting on and taking off the outfit and moving the props was quite exhausting, it's truly meaningful to meet everyone through Yoimiya's image on this special day. Every character restoration serves as a polishing of my own styling and expressiveness. I hope the warmth belonging to Naganohara Fireworks can be delivered to everyone through these photos.
