[Niko cosplay] Genshin Impact Song of the Empty Moon, elegance in tranquility

Putting on this outfit of Niko, I was instantly surrounded by that pure yet mysterious temperament. The tailoring of the white and blue combination is highly fastidious; the bowknot elements at the neckline and cuffs preserve the character's iconic sense of refinement, while the gold pattern embellishments make the overall visual look even more noble. To restore the elf ears and pale gold long hair, I specially adjusted the layers of the wig, combining it with the light-colored wisps of hair in front of the forehead, hoping to make the gaze look a bit more gentle.

This shoot was selected in an indoor scene combining pure white and light purple floral designs, where Roman columns and archways create a sacred atmosphere that happens to fit the theme of Song of the Empty Moon perfectly. I tried a few different states: the focus of quiet reading when holding a book, a relaxed yet elegant sitting posture when sitting sideways on the carpet, and finally a full-body perspective standing among the flowers, where the white high heels elongate the leg lines. I have to say, the height of these high heels required me to constantly pay attention to my center of gravity during the shoot, but to showcase the character's lightweight and ethereal temperament, it was completely worth it.

In terms of handling light and shadow, the photographer used soft diffuse light with no harsh shadows, giving the entire frame a dreamlike translucent feel, where the skin texture and costume details were beautifully preserved. Every time I shoot a character from Genshin Impact, I get a little nervous because everyone's love for this world runs so deep, so I do my best to stay close to the settings regarding props, makeup, hair, and expressions. I really love the atmosphere of this photo set—quiet yet carrying a touch of detachment—hoping to convey that tranquility of Niko belonging to books and the starry sky.
