[Columbina Cosplay] Genshin Impact: Dreamy Tea Party of Damselette cosplay and the Marionette

This time, my partner Shen Yanzhi and I teamed up to do Columbina Cosplay and Sandrone Cosplay from Genshin Impact, capturing a two-person tea party set at the Aurora Dusk studio. From the moment we decided on this theme, we constantly brainstormed how to showcase that aura of the Damselette cosplay and the Marionette—simultaneously elegant and laced with enigma.

First, let's talk about my Columbina Cosplay styling. To faithfully recreate the character, the costume featured a color-blocked long gown in black, white, and deep crimson, with a high black collar centered by an inlaid red gemstone pendant. The deep crimson V-shaped bodice accent and gemstone embellishments on the oversleeves added an overall sense of opulence to the details. The voluminous golden oversleeves paired with white gloves naturally made my gestures more graceful when lifting a teacup or holding desserts. For the wig, I selected long, straight light grey-brown hair, harmonized with translucent base makeup by makeup artist Kong Xuan and pale blue contact lenses, giving my gaze a serene, ethereal composure. In the subsequent solo shots, I also put on fluffy animal ears and a ruffled lace headband to inject a hint of playfulness.

Shen Yanzhi cosplayed Sandrone Cosplay (the Marionette). Her outfit was exceptionally lightweight, featuring a white, blue, and gold color scheme layered with abundant semi-sheer tulle. Her long straight hair with black-and-red accents was tied into twin tails, while the white feathered wing headpieces and white wrist wraps were strikingly distinctive. The translucent blue orb prop with a metallic frame in her hand reflected gorgeous textures under the studio lights. To capture the best angles, we experimented with numerous interactions before the tea table: her levitating the magical orb, me presenting a cake slice, and a composition where I reclined sideways across the carpet while she leaned over to gaze down at me—that harmony of White stockings and cascading skirt hems truly carried immense visual drama.

Special thanks to our photographer Yao Miao for the lighting on the day of the shoot. The studio set was adorned with copious white drapery, Roman columns, and massive blue blossoms. Yao Miao employed alternating warm and cool lighting—warm amber light from the left, contrasted against cool blue light on the right and background—creating remarkable layered depth across the frame. The tea set, sliced cakes, and envelopes on the table served as props that made the tea party atmosphere feel all the more authentic.

Executing a duo cosplay shoot is genuinely a test of mutual chemistry and coordination. With so many intricate details in the garments and wigs, we had to constantly adjust skirt hems and hair accessories throughout the session. Yet seeing the final cuts made all the early preparation and the day's hustle completely worthwhile. I hope these visuals successfully convey that atmospheric resonance inherent to the character lore.
