For this Blue Archive Shimoe Koharu cosplay shoot, the main goal was to capture her soft yet slightly tsundere daily vibe. Preparing this outfit actually took a lot of thought. I chose a white fabric with subtle texture for the dress, paired with large pink bows and an apron. To better fit the character's atmosphere, I asked a tailor specifically to adjust the puffiness of the sleeve ruffles. The red heart decorations on the chest were attached by hand during pattern making, with their positions cross-checked three times before finalizing to recreate original design elements faithfully. The black wing headpiece serves as the visual anchor of this wig setup; I fine-tuned the curvature of the wings during fitting so they contoured naturally alongside my cheeks without obstructing vision.

For the venue, we found a well-lit pink-themed gaming room. The pink-and-white harlequin floor and adjacent claw machine imparted an authentic Anime girl game-room feel, coinciding wonderfully with her character traits. Regarding makeup, emphasis was placed on eyelashes and eyeliner to highlight a clear, rounded eye shape, while pink contact lenses paired with light-colored hair made the complexion appear fair and bright. A hydrating peach shade was chosen for lip color to project a natural, healthy glow when smiling. During the shoot, coordinating with props and the pink gaming chair, I attempted various seated postures to demonstrate the natural extension of calf and sock lines. Black round-toe Mary Janes paired with white slouch socks added rich visual layering around the ankles.

The photographer mainly utilized soft diffused lighting for this Cosplay photography session to preserve the venue's inherent pink tones, while brightening highlights on the face and skirt without overexposure. For the close-up holding a strawberry cake, I wanted to create an interactive feel with the "Sensei" behind the screen, deliberately locking gaze precisely with the camera to cultivate a relaxed afternoon tea sharing mood. The apron and skirt hem have multiple layers, requiring careful arrangement when sitting down to maintain even ruffle distribution. The entire session took a few hours including changing and hair adjustments. Though adjusting poses in high heels was somewhat tiring, completing the final full-body shots in front of the claw machine delivered a very satisfying visual output. After shooting, minor filter tweaks were applied to skin tone and ambient lighting to bring out richer pink layering while preserving the authentic feel of the location's lighting. Maintaining a clean, fresh visual presence amid complex gear and props is crucial, and the overall coordination this time was quite high—special thanks to the photographer for patient cooperation. Sharing this shooting record and this cozy, healing pink room, hoping this sweet atmosphere conveys part of her character charm.
