Which family's little fox addresses the Commander as "Benefactor" right from the start? In fact, this title hides the theme of this shoot—combining the setting of the character Yingning in Goddess of Victory, we specially set up a very typical mixed Chinese/Japanese style studio backdrop this time, aiming to highlight that touch of slyness and playfulness about her.

The shoot day happened to fall on a rainy day, and the humidity and stuffiness inside the studio were far beyond imagination. If you see that raincoat in picture 3, you'll probably understand my helplessness. To fit the hazy vibe or the rainy day scenario in the setting, my makeup and styling artist specially prepared a transparent waterproof jacket. However, with the high temperature and moisture in the studio, a layer of mist formed directly inside this garment, making it feel extremely suffocating and almost impossible to breathe. Nevertheless, for the overall visual effect of the frame, I gritted my teeth and finished this set. Seeing the final photos now, I feel that the soft mist effect brought by the moisture unexpectedly creates a great atmosphere.

The handling of makeup and wig also took the character's traits into consideration. The orange long wig paired with the iconic geometric earrings and headpiece presents an excellent gloss under the warm lights of the studio. In terms of clothing, the sleeveless design with clashing black, white, and red colors, coupled with the metal fasteners at the collar and leather straps, combines a touch of techwear style with some modified traditional elements.

During the output process, the bare feet and the black criss-cross leg straps were the visual focus of this styling. To capture these fluent lines smoothly, the photographer and I repeatedly adjusted our sitting poses multiple times. For instance, sitting on the low wooden table in pictures 1 and 2, using a folding fan as a visual extension, balanced the proportions of the upper and lower body. In picture 4, where I am sitting on a wooden chair, I tried my best to relax myself, resting my chin on one hand and letting the red ribbon drop naturally. This sense of relaxation is actually harder to grasp than intentionally posing, but fortunately, the character's personality baseline carries a bit of casualness, so I just needed to go with that flow.

As for props, although that white folding fan is simple, it was a huge help during movement blocking; whether fully unfolded or half-closed, it coordinated beautifully with the lens focal length. The red paper umbrella patterned with white plum blossoms in the back was a background prop, but it also greatly enhanced the depth of field, making the entire scene come alive. The transparency of the raincoat set was actually quite a test for lighting; any slight carelessness would cause severe reflections, but fortunately, the photographer was very professional with light control, preserving the misty, fogged texture of the water vapor.

Shooting this entire set was definitely not easy. Although the hot and humid weather was quite uncomfortable, I really like the visual feedback and character temperament presented in the photos. The character of Yingning might leave different impressions in different players' hearts. This time, I combined some of her appearance details with traditional Chinese elements for a visual expression, hoping everyone can feel the small, ingenious thoughts in this set that highlights her distinct Little fox spirit look through our Chinese-style cosplay and Anime-style photography efforts.
