[Vesna cosplay] Spring in Genshin Impact Snezhnaya: Lakeside Convention photos Record

Convention photos from Day 1 of Chengdu World Line, shot lakeside. Sunlight was ample that day, but the background was truly packed with crowds of people; a bit of magic was used in post-processing to clean out the clutter.

This Vesna cosplay outfit has abundant details. The headpiece and elf ears are the soul of the look, and the blue-and-white corset dress with gold trim has fantastic physical texture. The white fur collar at the shoulders looked fluffy in the sunlight. The lower half features a white mini-skirt paired with White stockings and tall boots, keeping the skirt hem and leg lines graceful and light during movement. The massive gradient wings prop at the back was quite heavy, requiring constant attention to balance when walking outdoors, while the hand holding the magic staff constantly sought steady leverage.

Outdoor shoots in spring are quite the endurance test. Since "Vesna" inherently signifies spring, I wanted to convey a lively, buoyant state. The pose looking back over the shoulder with one leg lifted back in Photo 3 took several takes; angles of both the flowing hem and the staff needed continuous adjustments, and the photographer and I synced positions repeatedly to capture the wings unfurling in the breeze. In Photo 4, standing sideways took advantage of the natural elevation of the grassy slope to elongate the silhouette, letting the luminous effect atop the staff harmonize with the sparkling ripples of the lake.

The reality of Convention photos is constantly racing against shifting light, wind directions, and passersby. Fortunately, the soft afternoon natural light brought out the iridescent sheen of the fabric without complex fill lighting. After putting on the elf ears, fine adjustments were needed to blend them naturally with the hairline. Walking through grass in White stockings and boots easily picked up stray grass clippings, so breaks were mostly spent tidying up.

Overall, the styling blended seamlessly into the natural scenery; lakeside reeds and lush grass resonated perfectly with the design concept merging spring and Genshin Impact Snezhnaya.
