[Yao Cosplay] Honor of Kings Ethereal Look: Blue and White Tulle Dress and Agile Staff

Putting on this blue and white ethereal outfit from Miaowu Cosplay's "Cinnamoroll's Dream" collection, I feel like my entire self has become light and airy. The white tulle dress is paired with a light blue streamlined staff. The prop is a part of this styling that I am extremely satisfied with, and the little white plush attached to it adds a playful touch. The head accessories, combined with the little deer antlers shape and fluffy round pom-poms, look especially youthful on camera.

To better showcase this look, I chose three different sitting postures on a white platform for the shoot. Picture one shows me sitting upright while holding the staff, coordinated with the heart-shaped light ring behind me; the composition and eye contact are well-executed, securely capturing the ethereal vibe. Picture two extends the leg lines to complement the curve of the staff, revealing an agile visual effect. As for picture three, I chose to sit hugging my knees, wishing to create a quiet and highly approachable atmosphere, which is also the unique temperament brought by this costume.

Beyond the surface cuteness, the shooting process actually required a lot of thought to control the details. For instance, the angle of the staff in my hands, the laying of the skirt's tulle, and how the white over-the-knee socks and high heels with bows match to create the most comfortable visual effect all needed to coordinate with the photographer's lighting. The heart-shaped halo in the studio was very clever, enriching the light blue undertone to be highly dreamy and preventing the costume and background from blurring together within the same color family.

This shoot is not only a concretization of the character but also a capture of light, shadow, and body language. We repeatedly adjusted movements on-site many times to find the perfect angle where the skirt hem falls naturally while demonstrating the light, translucent texture of the costume. Although I was indeed quite exhausted after the shoot ended, seeing the final presented images, the sense of healing and cuteness completely reached my expected standards.
