[Nihilux cosplay] Honkai: Star Rail Nihilux Fitting: Sanfen Wangxiang Costume Review

Finally got around to trying on this Nihilux cosplay set from Sanfen Wangxiang! The wardrobe design for Nihilux in Honkai: Star Rail is inherently multi-layered, making pattern drafting and textile selection a real challenge for costume makers. My immediate impression upon unboxing was how pleasant the hand-feel was, and wearing it certainly did not disappoint.

Let's start with the cropped white jacket: the tailoring is exceptionally sharp, most notably around the tapered waistline. It instantly carves out a clean, defined silhouette without feeling flimsy. The shell fabric holds its structured shape while the interior lining remains soft against bare skin, pairing over the semi-sheer inner top without adding bulk. The black contrast paneling on the sleeves and polished silver buttons add substantial visual depth, while the rear fabric drape hangs naturally without clinging awkwardly to the back.

The undergarments and skirt are equally well-executed. A translucent brown vest layered over a black base creates an alluring sheer effect. The asymmetrical black miniskirt possesses excellent drape, with a high-low cut that flatters leg lines. Geometric patterned textile splices along the side float gracefully in motion. The white leather belt with linked silver chains delivers premium metallic heft rather than cheap plastic shine, and the leather thigh garter adds a sharp tactical edge.

For accessories, the long black gloves and Black stockings anchor her commanding presence. The stockings offer great stretch without binding, and paired with lace-up combat boots, they visually elongate the legs. The wig and cap fit snugly, with chain and tassel accents along the brim rendered with high fidelity.

Mirror selfies under soft indoor lighting beautifully captured the jacket's contrast and textures. Over an hour of fitting, the breathable fabric allowed effortless movement with zero discomfort. For fans of Honkai: Star Rail, this Sanfen Wangxiang release is well worth picking up for both photoshoots and convention roaming.
