I shot this set of Enma Ai photos from Hell Girl. The sense of oppression in the original artwork is truly awe-inspiring; every time I see it, I feel shocked. With long straight black hair with bangs, paired with those iconic Red eyes, I specifically emphasized the desolate feeling of the eyeshadow and lip color in my makeup, striving to restore the character's mystery and coldness. This set tries two looks: the first is a half-bare-shoulder look, using a large number of colorful chrysanthemums for foreground obscuration and composition, recreating the atmosphere of being surrounded by flowers in the original artwork, which carries a weird aesthetic. The second is wearing a kimono with a black-based butterfly pattern, holding a red temari ball, and conveying Ai-chan's distant and slightly melancholic temperament through crouching and downcast eyes. The real-life scene used a pure red background, and the lighting contrast was very high, making the texture of white skin and black hair very obvious. Although I know I can't 100% restore the charm of the original artwork, being able to pay tribute to this work in my own way is a very happy thing. However, this AI recognition is really annoying; even though it's my own creation, it keeps getting intercepted for no reason, which really affects my mood. But in any case, the shooting experience this time was very satisfying, and I hope fellow fans who have seen the original work can feel that familiar atmosphere.
