This shoot finally brought out Kallen's persona—like a thorny rose blooming amidst briars. Everyone worked tirelessly from pre-shoot prep to on-set execution. In particular, photographer Wan Sheng dedicated tremendous effort to mastering the contrast between cool, dim lighting and the vibrant red dress. Our logistic assistant, Jenny, stayed by my side the entire time to manage that extremely long, easily tangled white wig, while smoothing the red-and-white layered skirt and that voluminous roll of white sheer tulle—I truly couldn't have managed without them. Honestly, the most nerve-racking challenge on set came from the genuine thorny vines and rose props; they were sharp to the touch and tricky to anchor. While posing, I had to be constantly vigilant so thorns wouldn't prick my fingers or tear the stockings and sleeves. We deliberately chose compositions with a sensual, alluring, and cold elegance. To embody the character's aura, I rotated between seated, semi-reclining, and standing poses, aiming to amplify the visual tension of the silhouette through long legs clad in black stockings and a subtly exposed neckline. The red dress possessed an exquisite drape with flowing, wide sleeves, and the white tulle easily caught soft highlights in the cool-toned woods. As darkness set in during the shoot, capturing sufficient light became tough, requiring a long wait for faint moonlight to filter through the canopy; the resulting photos deliver an exceptionally potent Dark Gothic style ambiance. This set aimed to balance sweet mystery with the seductive enchantment of roses—the arching back poses tested core endurance heavily to maintain an effortless, weightless grace. These photos align wonderfully with Kallen's lore in Fate/Grand Order, and I hope everyone can feel our dedication to the styling and prop nuances.
