[Reimu Hakurei Cosplay] Outlining her story with a gaze

For this shoot in collaboration with @ACI瓷, I have been thinking about how to better convey a sense of story through facial expressions. To accurately restore the characteristic of Reimu Hakurei, which is gentle with a hint of playfulness, I chose a more delicate visual expression for this project. Especially wanting to capture the slightly contrasting Atmosphere of the "girlish city manager" version, I practiced and adjusted a lot for every focus of my eyes and the slight arc of the corners of my mouth. The makeup provided by @换头猫 was crucial; it not only restored the character's original freshness but also added a dreamlike Atmosphere to Reimu. During the shoot, I tried to break away from simple static posing and instead integrated emotions into the continuation of every movement. The collision of red and white colors, combined with the soft background, makes the whole set of photos present a picture that is quiet yet full of tension. The intersection of every gaze is actually a dialogue with the lens, using expressions to outline the fluctuations within the character's heart. I hope that through this work, you can capture the gentleness and agility—that Girlish vibe—revealed by Reimu in this moment. This process of bestowing a soul upon the character through expressions is also the part of Roleplay creation I enjoy the most.
