For this Arknights Shu photoshoot, I specifically chose a Spring Banquet themed backdrop. Once the theme was settled, considerable effort went into the hair and makeup. The wig features a yellow-to-white gradient with blue tips; styling the braid while securing the antennae on top and the elf ears took quite some time. To match the character's aura, I chose large-diameter teal contact lenses paired with a delicate base and red lips, giving the makeup a very clean, refined look. The outfit is richly layered: a yellow crop top paired with a gray striped tie, dark blue wide-leg pants with platform sandals, and an outer pink coat draped with heavy white fringe tassels. The blue and red stripes on the gloves are very distinctive, and against the cool-toned blue backdrop, the warm yellow outfit really pops.
The trickiest parts during shooting were the long braid and the heavy tassels, which easily tangled whenever I moved and required constant readjusting. I also brought along a small doll as a prop, whose hair is likewise a blue-and-yellow gradient to echo the original design. For full-body shots, holding precise poses was necessary to highlight leg proportions and midriff lines, while half-body close-ups relied mainly on gaze and expression to convey that sense of tranquility. Cosplaying this character required fine adjustments to body lines and facial contours; in post-processing, I stayed as close as possible to the authentic textures of the original art without over-editing. The contrast between the cool background and warm-toned subject turned out very satisfying, and details such as the metallic luster of the belt buckle and the positioning of pearl accents were faithfully restored to the setting.
