I really wanted to share this Kanako Yasaka work from last autumn with everyone. Honestly, I've been a bit procrastinating, and only now have I organized the materials. Recalling the shooting process back then, as a relatively novice coser at the time, I definitely felt powerless in controlling many details and the overall texture of the final photos. Looking at the finished photos now, I can't help but want to review and optimize them.
I especially want to thank the makeup artist @ę¢å¤“ē«. This makeup was truly outstanding, accurately capturing Kanako's mysterious temperament with a touch of mature charm. At the shooting site, I especially loved the visual impact of the kimono-style red clothing against the surrounding golden autumn leaves. The scene choice at the time was a forest covered in fallen leaves, hoping to express the unique fantasy color of the Touhou Project.
For the overall style of this cosplay, I actually wanted to go for that "Gensokyo BBA" texture, emphasizing an elegance after years of sedimentation. Although it's not perfect in some places looking back now, the lively moments captured in the autumn breeze are still the most precious memories in my creative process. Thanks to the photographer Ghost Cry's lens for recording my purest love for this character at that time. I hope to bring a little bit of healing and beauty to everyone in front of the screen.
