Once inside the water, pool reflections interfere heavily with camera auto-metering, so manual exposure was used nearly throughout to lock in natural skin tones and keep the sheer White stockings and white bikini from blowing out in harsh ambient light.

For hair and makeup, pink-purple contact lenses combined with golden twin tails form the character's signature 2D essence. To withstand aquatic splashes, waterproof cosmetics were essential, especially reinforced eyeliner and lash setting. Synthetic wigs tangle rapidly near water, so I treated the tips with anti-static spray beforehand; having the blue-and-white ribbons on the pigtails float freely along the surface yielded stunning motion. The white bikini looks crisp in clear pools, though safety undergarments were carefully arranged to prevent transparency. The semi-sheer White stockings took on a beautiful texture underwater as ripples refracted light across the fabric weaves. Sheer lace sleeves absorb water quickly, needing to be wrung out and reshaped before submerging so they wouldn't droop or ruin the airy drape.

Posing in water severely tests core balance, as natural buoyancy tends to drift the body out of alignment.
