This shoot features the character Bready from Goddess of Victory: Nikke, themed around making desserts in the kitchen with an overall cozy, at-home feel. The cropped white top with cutouts below the chest and around the midriff serves as a prominent visual highlight. Paired with a brown plaid mini skirt and a small white ruffled apron adorned with a heart accent, it beautifully accentuates body curves. The black thigh-high stockings on the lower half feature ribbon ties that catch the light with a gorgeous sheen.

During pre-shoot prep, I carefully styled the wig; twin tails paired with a fluffy beret gave off a very cute vibe. For makeup, I slightly extended the eyeliner to make the eyes look more vivid and spirited. After discussing with photographer Andy, we decided to use warm yellow kitchen lighting to create a cozy and inviting ambiance.

To find the best framing angles, we tried standing, sitting, and kneeling poses. The cover shot used a low-angle standing pose, which effectively elongated the leg lines, made the combination of black stockings and skirt look sleek, and fully showcased the waistline through the top's cutout design. Squatting and kneeling poses focused more on showing a casual, everyday side, utilizing strawberry cakes on the floor, tiered dessert stands, and woven baskets filled with baguettes to enhance the lifelike atmosphere. Throughout the shoot, I had to constantly monitor fabric folds and the fit of the black stockings, as slight bending or squatting easily created creases, requiring continuous posture and breathing adjustments to maintain an ideal silhouette.

Beyond camera angles, coordinating makeup and lighting was equally crucial. To highlight the leg contours, side-backlighting was used to bring out the gloss on the black stockings, adding depth and dimension. In post-processing, we kept the subject's natural contours intact, mainly balancing the skin tone to look fair and translucent while enhancing the kitchen background's depth of field for a softer overall mood. With many props involved, balancing facial expressions while steadily holding trays of desserts made my hands and lower back quite sore. However, seeing the contrast of girlish charm and subtle sensuality in the camera made all the effort worthwhile. The costume and scene elements harmonized perfectly, leaving me with a fantastic shooting experience.
