[Bready cosplay] Pastry Chef on Duty in Goddess of Victory: Nikke

This shoot for Bready cosplay uses a pastry chef and gourmet food theme as the entry point for its atmosphere, paired with clean studio shots by photographer @鯌鯌🐟 to present the character's playful and slightly seductive daily state. The wig is a meticulously trimmed light brown twin-tail style, with side bows and bang curves closely matching the character's original setting, while the soft, cute white hat on top serves as a wonderful accent. For makeup, warm pink-toned eyeshadows were paired with a translucent base layer, focusing on creating a energetic look without appearing overly mature.

The costume details are actually abundant. The iconic white cropped long-sleeve jacket is worn open, revealing a black midriff-baring tube top underneath. This Crop top outfit cut perfectly showcases the waist and abdomen lines, creating a great visual layering when combined with short bottoms and an apron. The thin brown-and-orange ribbon tied at the collar acts as a finishing touch, softening the impact of exposed skin and adding a gentle touch to her aura. Below is paired a brown pleated miniskirt and a white ruffled apron with heart patterns, giving this maid/chef hybrid style strong recognizability.

The over-the-knee Black stockings cosplay paired with dark brown chunky-heeled Mary Janes is a design I really love in this look. The double-layered black borders at the top of the stockings create a subtle cinching effect that beautifully frames the thigh contours, allowing the camera to capture both the stocking texture and leg lines nicely whether standing or doing slight squats. During the shoot, a lollipop was used as the primary prop; holding a round yellow swirl lollipop while turning or waving enhanced the lively and cute atmosphere. In the final few shots, we added a Japanese scabbard prop, infusing weapon accessories into an originally sweet look to create extra contrast charm.

A bright, solid-color studio was chosen for this Anime-style photography shoot because the character's original design relies mainly on white, light brown, and warm color palettes, where a clean background highlights clothing panels and fine details to the fullest. When communicating with the photographer, we specifically emphasized capturing natural, relaxed moments rather than stiff posing—such as holding a lollipop while locking eyes with the camera or using playful body language to build interactivity. The entire shooting process went very smoothly, with lighting and angle adjustments executed just right, keeping the character centered while achieving a well-balanced presentation of the outfit. These are my thoughts and experiences sharing this Bready photoshoot.
