I failed to get general tickets for both Day 1 and Day 2 during the initial rush, and I was really feeling unsure while waiting for the second round of ticket sales. Fortunately, the Day 3 ticket successfully came into my hands, so I can finally spend a solid day doing photography at BilibiliWorld2026. Currently, I am open for accepting event photography bookings for Day 3. My setup is a 3-light matrix. For an environment with complex lighting like a convention, proper lighting can restore the character's texture in a more three-dimensional way, while also effectively avoiding problems like overexposed backgrounds or excessively heavy facial shadows.
During the shoot, I will actively provide posing guidance so that the model won't keep striking stiff poses. After all, the atmosphere at the convention venue is quite noisy, and entering the right state quickly requires a bit of guidance. The equipment I'm bringing this time is mainly to cope with the massive space and mixed light sources at the National Exhibition and Convention Center. The three lights will serve as the key light, fill light, and rim light respectively. Once the color temperatures are unified, the rate of keeper shots will be much higher. Looking at my previous convention photography work, whether it's more classical gowns, mecha elements, or casual school uniforms, this lighting layout can cover them quite naturally. If I encounter an IP I love, a TFP photoshoot is also very welcome; just DM me directly.
During on-site shooting, I will prioritize capturing the interaction between the person and the scene, such as the use of props, subtle changes in facial expressions, and the moments when the costume flutters, rather than just taking standard front-facing standing shots. Although the itinerary for Day 3 is only one day, I hope to meet more interesting characters and players so we can all leave behind high-quality photos at the convention. Over the past few days, I've compiled some previous event photos as a reference. The style leans towards clear and natural with a touch of atmosphere. If you have special requirements for lighting, we can also communicate in advance, and I will try my best to meet your needs under the limited venue conditions. All in all, I look forward to meeting everyone in person on Day 3 of BW2026, using my lens to capture the exclusive moments of 2D culture via Cosplay photography.
