Putting on the red and black color scheme qipao, I instantly found back that lazy and somewhat mysterious state of C.C. This time, I tried a modified tailoring design; the high slit and leg ring design allow more freedom in movements while retaining the character's iconic green hair and red hair ornaments. The skewer of Bingtanghulu in my hand is not just a prop, but a small detail to restore that leisurely snack-eating vibe. During the shoot, I specially selected two different sitting postures—a wooden chair and a bar stool, interpreting static elegance and casual stretching respectively. The makeup focus was placed on the sharp look of the eye makeup, paired with a fair base to reinforce the cold-toned texture of a CG character. For footwear, black platform high heels were chosen to elongate proportions, and the red and black color-blocking looks exceptionally clean against the studio's pure white background. Although outdoor shoots have more atmosphere, studio shooting allows better control over lighting, beautifully displaying the dark patterns and fabric luster on the clothes. The post-processing logic for each photo was to keep the skin tone translucent, making the red of the qipao the visual core. The most satisfying part of this styling was the layering of the straps and floral decorations; being a clumsy person, it took me ages to fix them properly, but the final result was well worth it.
