[Misaki cosplay] The Qipao Dragon Girl in Blue Archive, the Sense of Contrast in the Classroom - Image 2

This dragon-patterned Qipao outfit of Misaki is truly full of charm. The dark blue base color paired with golden embroidery, along with the high-slit design, demands a lot in terms of body shape and proportions. To restore that elegant yet slightly dangerous aura of the character, it was specially shot in a classroom scene, where the background blackboard graffiti and book racks integrate perfectly into the school setting.

In the second full-body photo, I threw on a striped coat, holding a prop gun and a briefcase, trying to express her other side as the "manager of the black market"—that fierceness of navigating between the school campus and the underworld. The texture of the prop gun took a long time to process, and every detail, including the silver dragon on the headpiece and the styling of the hair bun, was done to closely match the original design.

The texture of the legs actually shows more tension under this high-slit Qipao cosplay look. Paired with black high heels to elongate the leg lines, the movement design chose two states: sitting and standing. The sitting pose is more lazy and casual, while the standing pose carries more of an oppressive air. In terms of light and shadow, the afternoon natural light hits from the side, bringing out the subtle patterns of the Qipao and the reflections of the metal accessories.

The overall shoot was very pleasant. This process of combining character temperament with real-world scenes is exactly the most charming part of cosplay. I hope to convey Misaki's unique laziness and awe-inspiring presence to everyone through this classroom photography piece.
