The unique traits of Goldenglow were brought out wonderfully in this Christmas cosplay shoot; from lines like "the sweetest pie and the most flourishing flowers," one can truly feel the tenderness in her heart. Despite having survived a devastating fire in her lore, she still holds onto her fondness for ribbons and bows. To recreate this sweet aura, I chose a red and white dress paired with bright red bows and a heart-shaped hairclip.

Speaking of today's styling, what I'd most like to share is the texture of the costume and props. The skirt of this red and white dress has rich layering, which, paired with the red heart accents on the White stockings, perfectly matches the character's heart motifs. The massive heart-shaped staff is a handmade prop with substantial weight; under the lights, you can see a translucent red texture. Placing it in the mid-foreground during composition not only enriched the visual depth, but also elevated the fairytale ambiance.

The studio set was meticulously arranged. On the left stood a Christmas tree adorned with colorful ornaments, with red gift boxes stacked beneath it, a snowy window backdrop behind, and an elk pattern across the rug. Soft, warm light illuminated my face, making the skin look radiant while enhancing the cozy holiday vibe.

We focused on three poses, but the first image was best suited for the cover. In this composition, I sat sideways on the rug with one leg stretched forward. This pose not only elongated my overall proportions, but also best showcased the texture of the White stockings and the fluffiness of the skirt. Holding the staff aligned nicely with my gaze, keeping the subject centered with no distracting watermarks, creating the strongest visual impact.

The second image is a classic seated pose with hands on knees to display front costume details and the heart-shaped makeup. The third is a side-profile glance over the shoulder, utilizing bent leg lines to highlight the skirt's layers and the Christmas blanket in the background.

From a professional cosplay photography perspective, winter-themed red and white palettes heavily test lighting. The main light source came from a warm-toned side softbox, which eliminated facial shadows and made the red bows and skirt pop vividly. The material of the White stockings showed a subtle sheen under the lights, enhancing the visual elongation of the legs when paired with platform heels.

For makeup, light-colored contacts emphasized an ethereal gaze, and drawing a fine red heart on the cheek with lipstick was the styling's key highlight. Combined with the flow of the wig's bangs, I aimed to convey her gentle spirit of persevering toward her dreams despite hardship. Though the shoot was tiring—constantly adjusting the skirt's position and checking staff reflections—the final results met all expectations.

The style of this set leans dreamy and sweet, capturing a classic Christmas maiden aesthetic. As a high-quality Arknights cosplay record, I hope everyone feels the winter warmth brought by Goldenglow.
