[Rem cosplay] Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-, Full of Energy in a Gymnastics Uniform

A lot of prep work went into this gymnastics uniform shoot for Rem. The wig shade and the layering of the bangs were key focuses, adjusted multiple times to achieve this clear, translucent blue tone. The gymnastics uniform was custom-made, featuring a white T-shirt paired with dark blue gym shorts; the fabric is breathable yet structured, preventing unsightly creases when sitting. The white stockings are the highlight this time—a semi-sheer material was chosen to both accentuate the leg shape and preserve authentic skin texture.

The shoot took place at Kasumi Studio, set against a clean blue-and-white gradient backdrop. The photographer @九九九是月 provided very professional lighting: the key light came from the upper front, while fill light softened side shadows, making the overall look luminous and clear without the dullness of harsh light. The session centered primarily around the desk and chair setup, and the poses in these two shots actually required a lot of stamina and balance. Sitting on the desk edge required engaging my core to keep from falling. In the second photo particularly, resting my foot on the edge of the chair back required pointing my toes straight to elongate the calf lines; I made sure to stretch my legs beforehand to prevent cramping.

During the shoot, I experimented with shifting my center of gravity. To keep the leg lines sleek, I kept my back slightly straightened while raising both hands playfully beside my head. The arms couldn't be too rigid—flaring the elbows slightly outward made the pose look more natural. The cropped top of the gymnastics uniform also revealed the waistline at specific angles. The slight indentation above the knee caused by the top edge of the stockings was a detail intentionally preserved in post-processing, lending a realistic skin texture and sense of dimension.

Post-processing mainly unified the color tones, highlighting the clean, refreshing feel of white and blue. The skin tone was tuned toward a fair, rosy white, removing ambient color casts. The second photo was selected for this composition because it stretched the leg lines best. The entire shoot lasted about four hours and was a very enjoyable experience.
