This Camellya cosplay look made me look forward to the expression of light and shadow right from the design stage. Therefore, during the actual shoot, I specifically focused on restoring the character's calm and slightly detached atmosphere. For the makeup, I chose a cool-toned foundation, which, paired with the distinctly black and white wig, strives to present a clean and neat visual in front of the camera. The Twin-tail hairstyle on both sides is fixed with thin red ribbons and white flower hair accessories, creating a very natural sense of layering when fluttering, perfectly matching Camellya's elegant temperament in the world of Wuthering Waves.

The fabric selection for the skirt was a massive project. The outer skirt is made of glossy white satin, while the inner lining relies on multiple layers of stiff tulle to support the fluffy silhouette, ensuring a gorgeous sense of styling even during static shooting. The pearl necklace and red bow at the neckline serve as the visual center, beautifully embellishing the blank space on the upper body, while the golden geometric belt around the waist is the key to tightening the proportions, preventing this White dress outfit from looking bulky. In fact, during the dressing process, just adjusting the position of the skirt's pleats took quite a bit of time, striving to achieve the ideal smoothness in every tiny detail.

In conceptualizing the poses, I wanted to present Camellya's state from different angles. In the first photo, I sat on a rattan chair holding a brown teddy bear with my head slightly lowered, attempting to express a quiet and soft aura, with the toy bear becoming the carrier of emotions in this atmosphere. The second photo moved to the vanity table, utilizing the full-length mirror behind to reflect the side and back styling, with eyes looking directly into the lens, which better reflects the character's own independence and sense of strength. During the transitions between different movements, the layers of the clothing and the swaying of the hair strands also brought different dynamic effects.

This set of photos was entirely completed indoors. The natural light outside the window became very soft after being filtered through the white tulle, casting onto the floral wallpaper and presenting a delicate, oil painting-like texture. The photographer is highly experienced in handling light; by controlling the angle of the reflector, the layers of the skirt and the translucency of the skin tone were well preserved. During post-processing, we mainly focused on color correction and minor adjustments, avoiding exaggerated filter treatments, trying to keep the photos' aesthetic authentic and natural so as not to ruin the premium feel of the original costume design.

Cosplay photography, to me, is a way to construct an imaginary world using images. Doing ample homework before shooting, familiarizing myself with the character's styling features and foundational personality, and then restoring them through the coordination of clothing, accessories, makeup, and body language allows every click of the shutter to capture a state of flow. The entire shooting process was very smooth, and the final results obtained successfully convey Camellya's calm yet powerful visual language.
