The moment I picked up the camera and pressed the shutter, what I wanted to restore was Kasugano Sora's cautious yet incomparably pure attachment. This photo set is constructed from beginning to end around the emotional tension of "cherishing," attempting to let the static frames convey the contradictions and tenderness within her personality.

In terms of styling, this pure white ruffled dress is the visual centerpiece. The multi-layered stitching at the neckline and cuffs, combined with the lightweight fabric that has excellent drape, gives her whole being a delicate, otherworldly frailty. The light golden long twintails paired with three-dimensional white bows are not only the character's signature trait but also form a very natural line extension in the frame. The makeup deliberately tones down any aggressiveness, emphasizing the clarity of the eye makeup and the softness of the lip color, attempting to shorten the distance between the character and the lens.

During the shoot, the black long-eared rabbit plush in her arms served as a highly vital emotional pivot. Its dark tone plays an excellent balancing role, breaking up the monotony of the pure white clothing under large areas of high-key lighting, while giving her hands a natural place to rest. Whether sitting in front of the bookshelf flipping through books, holding a delicate spoon at a wooden dining table to taste desserts, or even lying prone on a Persian carpet with closed eyes resting, these casual cosplay actions became more vivid and narrative-rich due to the addition of this black prop.

The choice of scenery also underwent careful consideration. Throw pillows with floral patterns, a solid wood headboard with arched decorations, a round table draped in an exquisite lace tablecloth, and that carpet covered in vintage patterns—these diverse indoor elements immensely enrich the layering of the frame. During the shoot, I specifically selected a soft diffused light to let the pure white in the frame become the protagonist. The final tone of the photos leans toward a bright, high-key style, but it doesn't blindly chase the so-called "cold white skin"; instead, it aims to create a clean, translucent indoor atmosphere with a slight touch of hazy dust mottes. This light handling method beautifully fits the character's trait of appearing transparent yet actually carrying heavy emotions in this Anime-style photography work.

In terms of composition, besides the medium-shot portraits, I also experimented with some high-angle birds-eye perspectives. For instance, the shot where she quietly lies with closed eyes captures her splayed skirt and white socks forming a wonderful geometric composition against the intricate carpet patterns, conveying a strong sense of domestic comfort and a slightly lazy, relaxed aura. The shot on the bed resting her chin on her hand while looking back is the most interactive frame in the entire set; she gazes straight into the lens with little defensiveness in her eyes, showing only a pure sense of questioning and expectation. Combining the character's frailty with the environment's warmth is precisely the core concept of this shoot.

In truth, this frozen sense of tranquility can never be detached from the perfect coordination of makeup/styling, scenery, lighting, and an understanding of the character's emotions. I hope that through these genuine domestic snippets, those viewing the photos can feel that this is not merely a simple photoshoot, but a soulful dialogue between myself and the character.
