This time shooting the Kasugano Sora cosplay casual outfit, the focus was placed on creating an overall atmospheric vibe. This white dress has quite a few details; the neckline features a shawl-like structure, with a teardrop-shaped cutout on the chest paired with a white thin-ribbon bow. The fabric is a crisp cotton, so the pleats of the skirt and the puffiness of the short sleeves hold up well. The long ribbons on the sleeves are also a finishing touch, dangling down to add an overall sense of lightness.

For the wig, I chose platinum-blond long straight hair styled into twin tails, intentionally adding a little ahoge on top to enhance playfulness, along with small black bow hair accessories on both sides. The layering at the ends of the wig was finely adjusted to avoid looking too heavy. The prop is a black plush rabbit with X-shaped stitched eyes and a small white necktie. This dark-leaning grayish-black color forms a strong visual contrast with the white dress, making it look amazing whether held in hand as a cover or placed nearby.

The shoes and socks are paired with white mid-calf socks and black chunky-weight Mary Jane shoes. The metal buckles and chunky platform design of the Mary Jane shoes visually elongate the calf lines while anchoring the excessive lightness that a white dress can easily bring.

The shooting environment is a home bedroom, with a log-colored bed in the background covered with pink polka-dot sheets, and olive green curtains on the right side. This light-toned environment accented with green is very suitable for shooting such daily, fresh casual outfits. To achieve the Mirror selfie, natural light was utilized, letting the light hit from the side so that the pleats and dimension on the skirt become more pronounced.

When taking the mirror selfie, try to hold the phone in front of your chest or slightly higher to cover your face, so that the visual focus naturally falls on the clothing and overall posture. Fingers can naturally toy with the hair or gently pinch the skirt hem. The pose in picture 4 was the smoothest to shoot: one hand holding the phone, one hand brushing the hair, body slightly tilted, with leg weight resting on one leg, making you look taller and slimmer.

The entire pairing doesn't deliberately pile up elements; it simply restores the refreshing feeling of the casual outfit. The plushie can be hugged in front or placed on the bed as part of the background. The fun of a Mirror selfie lies in being able to adjust posture and expression at any time, without needing overly complex lighting equipment—ordinary indoor lighting is enough to capture a clean and translucent frame. During the pre-shoot focusing phase, try to lock onto the subject or clothing details, and in post-production, slightly adjust white balance and exposure to retain the original soft color tones. The entire shooting process was relatively relaxed, without deliberately staging difficult poses, focusing more on recording a natural state.
