The moment the lens framed me, I knew I had to settle into a state of total, unhurried relaxation. This shoot was dedicated to Kasugano Sora from Yosuga no Sora. I styled a pale platinum-blonde long wig, carefully grooming the blunt bangs while plucking out airy stray strands at the crown to preserve an organic, lived-in feel. For makeup, to capture her delicate mix of soft vulnerability and subtle yandere melancholy, I washed a generous gradient of rosy pink eyeshadow and blush extending from the under-eyes across the cheeks, paired with soft pink lip gloss to evoke a porcelain, flushed glow. The wardrobe was stripped back to a minimalist white sleeveless sundress tied with a black satin bow at the neckline—free of extraneous embellishments to protect its clean, unadorned purity.

While shooting this sequence, I reclined on my side across the bed, cradling a grey plush bunny doll. The doll was not merely a prop; it was the emotional anchor guiding my physical poise. To convey an aura of feeble, clinging dependence, I softened my arms so my fingertips rested lightly along the toy's edges, curling my body inwards with legs gently crossed. This curled silhouette created a petite, fragile visual frame that deepened the quiet, wistful atmosphere of the room. Expression through the gaze was paramount: rather than forcing exaggerated acting, I kept my eyelids half-lidded and locked directly onto the lens, letting parted lips and relaxed brows speak of unguarded surrender.

Regarding posing references, I discussed our approach with the photographer at length beforehand. This visual style suffers from rigid, staged choreography—the more natural and spontaneous, the better. Reclining on one's side carves out the jawline cleanly while allowing silky blonde locks to spill organically across the white pillows. During the shoot, the photographer constantly guided my hand placement and shoulder heights, helping me discover relaxed bone-structure support points.
