The inherent youthful atmosphere of the classroom perfectly aligned with the character's vibrant energy, while sunlight streaming through the windows onto the floor created wonderfully cozy natural light.
Although this outfit is sporty, the design details are very eye-catching. The white sleeveless top with a cute print on the hem, paired with black-trimmed sports shorts, creates a clean and sharp look. The highlight is undoubtedly the visual core of this ensemble—the White thigh-highs outfit paired with thigh straps, which fits the character design flawlessly while creating a gap-moe contrast of innocence and subtle deviltry in the classroom. The red bow around the neck with a blue bell chimed softly with each movement, adding plenty of fun to the shoot.

The shot of me sitting in the cart surrounded by colorful volleyballs highlighted the character's petite stature while filling the frame with motion and vibrant color contrast. Compared to ornate dresses, this casual sporty Campus cosplay is actually a truer test of fidelity and expression. It requires mastering subtle facial expressions—such as the innocence brought by yellow contacts and pink eye makeup—while keeping body language relaxed enough to look like a genuine frame from school life. Many of my previous shoots were studio-based, which look refined but can feel distant, whereas this shoot with a real classroom and sports elements was thoroughly relaxed, just like hanging out with friends. I personally love bringing 2D characters into real-world settings for anime-style photography; the wood grain textures and blackboard reflections provided great depth for post-processing.
In post-processing, the photographer and I agreed to preserve the authentic texture, light, and shadow of the raw photos as much as possible, avoiding excessive skin smoothing or heavy filters. Props in the background like the clock, protractor, and volleyballs already had plenty of narrative weight; adding flashy special effects would overshadow the subject. This clean, crisp visual style nicely echoes the character's sunny disposition.
Looking back at the details on shooting day, quite a lot of thought went into styling. The hair accessories combined twintails with black-and-white-tipped cat ears, and the small black inverted triangle patch on the forehead was truly the finishing touch of the makeup, adding a playful quirk to the clean white look. For makeup, warm-toned blush and lip gloss paired with golden-yellow pupils faithfully captured Sunna's outward sweetness and intrinsic sprightliness.
The advantage of this sporty outfit is mobility—unlike bulky gowns, it allows full freedom of movement to explore expressive poses. Whether top-down, low-angle, or candid snapshots of casual moments, great shots came naturally. The volleyball cart shot was a delightful surprise; we originally just wanted some sporty elements, but sitting inside resulted in unexpectedly stunning lighting and composition, with the pink-and-white volleyballs adding great color harmony.
