[Nahida Cosplay] Genshin Impact: Lesser Lord Kusanali's Daily Life in Pure White School Style

The location choice for this studio shoot was very clear: I wanted a bright, clean-toned school style look.

The photos you see now were actually from a pre-set indoor concept; combining desks and chairs with a pure white background highlights the character's colors to the greatest extent. The color scheme of this uniform is quite interesting, pairing large areas of white with a mint-green collar and plaid skirt trim, looking visually refreshing. To match the character's lively elf vibe, head accessory details had to be spot-on: golden four-leaf clover hair ornaments with green accents, combined with pointed elf ears, become the visual center when there's no complex background clutter. For the wig, silver-white was chosen as the base color with hair ends fading into eye-catching bright turquoise green; its texture and layering required careful styling to achieve this naturally fluffy state.

During shooting, I communicated many pose details with the photographer; sitting on a chair with legs crossed and one leg slightly extended nicely elongates visual proportions. The black patent leather Mary Jane shoes placed beside my feet were intentionally left off, paired with solid white tights to create a cozy feeling of classroom break time. This shoeless composition feels both casual and gives the image a downward visual extension. Holding an open book adds a bit of storytelling and interactivity, as if reading an interesting notebook. The beauty of studio shooting is controllable lighting: the overhead lights and side softboxes at Kasumi Studio made skin tones look wonderfully translucent without blowing out the White tights cosplay element, preserving rich textures. Before shooting, I set a character premise: the non-human feel of elf ears combined with a white uniform collides to create a vibe that feels both everyday 2D daily life and touch of fantasy.

Post-processing for this set mainly adjusted color white balance, slightly lowering the color temperature to make mint green look fresher while ensuring the silver-white wig wasn't overly harsh. Folds in the clothing formed soft highlights and shadows under the light sources, which is why I chose this sharply tailored long-sleeved top and pleated skirt—the silhouette solidly supports this crisp visual effect. Cosplaying characters with refreshing settings always feels relaxing because complex movements aren't needed to convey expression; simple sitting postures and soft facial expressions restore character demeanor much better. Green-and-white palettes pop amazingly against a pure white backdrop, demonstrating that early makeup styling and color combinations have a decisive impact on the final result.

The shooting process was actually quite fast because the skirt length was modest, avoiding exposure concerns so I could focus on movement details. Many friends previously asked about pairing white tights with patent leather shoes; in actual photography, it looks fantastic on camera, with leg extension at the ankles giving the frame breathing room. White tights can easily feel monotone, but when paired with high-contrast elements like black shoes, green hair, and silver hair, they jump off the screen immediately. Desk textures were also crucial: the wooden tabletop and beige chair legs softened the cool feel of the white background, adding warmth to the scene. The action of turning pages was repeated four or five times to catch a moment that felt unforced yet relaxed. I personally love this photography style—no forced cute posing needed, just sitting quietly conveys the character's charm.

Overall, the makeup and costume details were all properly executed this time, especially those pointed elf ears, which blended seamlessly with the hair color without any awkward jarring gap. From early prep to final photos, this set successfully merged campus and fantasy styles. Hair remained frizz-free throughout the shoot, showing that wig quality is truly vital for cosplay performance. Reviewing these edited photos now, I can still feel the relaxed mood sitting at that small school desk. This bright, clean studio photoshoot is one of my personal favorite styles, where accurately restoring a character's inherently adorable setting matters above all else.
