For the lower body, I wore Pink over-the-knee socks with lace trimming paired with matching chunky-heeled ankle boots. Postures avoided exaggerated flexing, focusing mainly on small-scale actions like sitting, half-kneeling, or standing on one leg. The emphasis lay on eye contact with the camera; wearing the headset gave my expression an effortless, relaxed composure.
Makeup was kept soft, pink, and translucent, emphasizing harmony between eyelashes and lens color without heavy eyeliner. Wearing this cosplay outfit, the fabric was actually light and thin, allowing very flexible movement; the main difficulty lay in managing the long twin-tail wig, which easily caught on shoulder straps or fabric if not careful.
During post-processing retouching, we maintained cool, dark tones for the background to contrast with the warm pink tones, making the subject pop while fine-tuning highlight details to preserve the skirt's fabric texture. Visitor traffic on Firefly ACG Expo D4 was massive, often resulting in passersby accidentally walking into frame right after a single shot. So the crew patiently waited for gaps, spending over half an hour in this corner to complete these pose sets. Though standing so long made my legs ache, seeing the final images made all that effort worthwhile.
Regarding prop interaction, besides holding the bunny, I tried placing it next to a plush cushion while gently touching my lips with a finger. That angle allowed hair shadows to fall along the side of my cheek, creating a lovely half-lit shadow transition. Searching for a quiet corner in a noisy convention hall and repeatedly adjusting reflector positions with the lighting assistant are essential details for capturing great convention photos.
Cooperation with the photographer went smoothly with great chemistry; simple eye signals conveyed intended compositions without needing many words. He pointed out many small details between candid shots, such as stray hairs or a crooked tie, so I could adjust—this professional communication greatly boosted output efficiency.
Ultimately, this pink-and-white color palette combined with glossy textures presented a remarkably clean visual effect under the hall's complex overhead lighting. Though convention environments are inherently chaotic, controlling camera focal lengths and angles maximizes and preserves this clean, sweet, and cool charm in the photos.
