The styling and costume adjustments for this Katsuragi Lilja cosplay mainly revolved around capturing an authentic everyday feel. The dark greyish-black fabric is richly textured, paired with a blue belt, cuffs, and tie to create a cool-toned visual contrast. Since the character has a petite frame, the off-shoulder design was chosen to optimize proportions, while pairing with black boots effectively elongated the leg lines.

For makeup, the focus was placed on blue contact lenses and soft pink blush. To match her shy yet earnest and hardworking demeanor, I deliberately adjusted the curvature of the hair when taking half-body close-ups. The Silver hair and blue eyes styling involved extensive trimming of the silver-white bob wig, specifically texturing the bangs and side layers so it wouldn't look stiff. The skirt is richly layered, with blue ruffled pleats serving as a major highlight; taking full-body mirror selfies clearly showcased the complete silhouette of this outfit design.

Whether shooting outdoors or indoors, lighting reflections must be taken into account; this costume shows a matte texture under natural light, but emits a subtle satin sheen under strong indoor studio lights. Since Gakuen Idolmaster inherently carries stage attributes, I kept my expressions gentle without resorting to exaggerated posing. While it took time to get the wig positioning and belt buckle placement just right, the final level of completion was very high. There are many ways to express a character; conveying her personality traits through subtle body language and expression control, combined with the tailored features of this Anime cosplay costume, is the most enjoyable part of the recreation process for me. This photoshoot also gave me a closer understanding of the character—not just imitating her appearance, but revealing an authentic side of her through Gakumas cosplay images.
