[Goldenglow cosplay] Arknights Summer Swimsuit: Freezing a Refreshing Summer Moment

This summer swimsuit look of Goldenglow from Arknights really brings a strong summer vibe. Since I chose this energetic skin, I did some color coordination during the early preparations. The pink wig and iconic animal ear accessories had to be with me, and combined with the straw hat and flower-shaped sunglasses, that lazy yet playful visual trait immediately stood out.

To recreate this summer magical cat image, I specially prepared several props this time, such as a beach volleyball, a light-colored swim ring, and a sliced watermelon, which are all great helpers to enhance the summer atmosphere. We chose an outdoor poolside for the shoot. Although the sunlight that day was very blinding, the photographer made excellent use of the direct light, beautifully outlining the overall skin texture and fabric details of the outfit clearly and thoroughly.

For the pose design, I referenced the character's well-behaved yet lively personality settings. Besides statically holding the volleyball by the shore, I also tried sitting on a transparent swim ring or splashing in the water, capturing the crystal-clear water droplets through candid shots, making the final photos blend the quiet beauty of stillness with the casual nature of movement. In the costume, the white lace sheer blouse reveals the swimsuit details, and paired with denim shorts and lace details on the legs, the overall look is refreshing while hitting the character's specific cute charm. I feel that this kind of summer-themed shoot is not only a faithful recreation of the character design but also a process full of creative joy, allowing me to turn the summer segments in my imagination into real images.

Now I am releasing this set of final photos to share with everyone, hoping that all of you who love Goldenglow can feel a refreshing atmosphere that dispels the summer heat. This shoot has added a highly vivid page to my summer memories, beautifully capturing a slice of 2D daily life brought into reality.
