This Genshin Impact Barbara Cosplay look, paired with a bright Summer sailor uniform set at Hangzhou's Hubin Yintai in77, perfectly embodies the character's vibrant, refreshing vibe. We specifically picked a sunny day for this location shoot. Although outdoor sunlight was quite strong, the venue's physical decorations were beautifully curated—giant windmills, colorful bunting flags, and red traditional lanterns added a rich anime event atmosphere to the whole set.

Preparing this outfit required the most effort on the wig and accessories. The pale gold twin-tail wig needed volumizing treatment beforehand, ensuring the curls at the ends stayed soft and natural rather than stiff. The blue-and-white ribbon hair accessory and neck choker were custom-made to faithfully replicate the original design. The white top with navy trim contrasted vibrant orange bows for an energetic color scheme, while the dark blue swimsuit base layer shone with premium texture under lighting, complemented by ruffled sleeve cuffs with excellent drape.

To match the overall oceanic motif, I chose white platform high-heeled sandals accented by blue-and-yellow ankle straps and hand-attached white floral appliques on the instep. A white floral thigh garter added rich styling layers while highlighting her cute charm. For props, holding the signature yellow plush bird toy was an absolute essential to preserve her iconic cuteness.

Outdoor shooting came with lighting and crowd challenges. The plaza at Hubin Yintai in77 gets quite busy, requiring us to time our shots to dodge peak crowds. Working in seamless synergy with the photographer, we utilized wooden flowerbeds and fountain edges as natural seating. Poses like stretching out my legs along the flowerbed enhanced the bare-leg outfit's appeal, while platform sandals naturally elongated body proportions.

The fountain backdrop was ideal for capturing her gentle, serene side—sitting along the water's edge amidst sparkling splashes, clear blue skies, and fluffy clouds created an instant dreamlike mood. Genshin Impact standees placed nearby further enhanced the vibrant offline event feeling. The golden wig shimmered brilliantly under sunlight while my makeup matched the vibrant palette. Though wearing a wig outdoors felt a bit hot, seeing clear, luminous final images made capturing this full dose of summer energy completely worth it in this Cosplay sharing post.
