The one released this time is Denia from Wuthering Waves. I happened to see this set of photos while organizing my album, so I'm posting them for a quick update. The phrase "remember to say cheese when taking pictures" in the caption is a little easter egg from when I shot this picture. In terms of makeup and styling, since the setting is StarTorch Academy, the overall tone leans cold. The pink-purple wig took a long time to shape with hair wax before wearing, and fixing the bun on the left side took quite a while. For color contacts, I chose grayish-blue. To match the overall cold vibe, the eye makeup is relatively light, with the focus placed on the outer corners. Putting on the outfit was quite tedious, especially those gold chains and sapphire pendants on the chest, which tangle easily. To get them in the right position, I was constantly adjusting the chains during the shoot. The Red gloves are made of a rather stiff material; they look very stylish when raising the hand, but they do restrict movement. The first photo features a peace sign pose, which perfectly matches the "say cheese" caption. This pose reveals the V-shaped strap details on the chest and also shows off the overall waist and collarbone lines. At the same time, the character is centered, and the composition is complete without being cropped, so I chose it for the cover. The second photo is a close-up of the face; this angle allows for a clearer view of the eye makeup and red lip texture, making the gaze look deeper. Because the overall background is a solid gray, the lighting was controlled to be quite clean during the shoot, using two lights for the key light and side light. Post-production mainly dealt with skin texture, preserving the highlight layers of the wig, while also adjusting the reflections on the sapphire on the chest. The most troublesome part during the shooting process was the Red gloves getting oily and reflective, which required repeatedly wiping them with oil-absorbing sheets. Although the preparation process was a bit of a hassle, the success rate of this look was quite high, and the overall atmosphere matches the cold and slightly tsundere tone I wanted to present.
