Putting on this pale pink wig and changing into the gorgeous white, pink, and black dress, I chose to shoot this set of Denia photos in a study filled with vintage vibes this time. This set of photos is not only to restore the character but also aims to combine the Anime cosplay setting with three-dimensional textures through detailed Real-scene studio shooting.
Let's first talk about the design highlights of this costume. Although the overall color scheme is dominated by white, pink, and black, the details are exceptionally exquisite. The blue gemstone at the neckline combined with a metal chain serves as a highly prominent adornment around the neck. The outer white jacket features an off-the-shoulder design with plush trim at the shoulders, while the cuffs are loose pink flared sleeves adorned with golden embroidered textures that make the entire outfit look gorgeous and delicate. The red gloves are the crowning touch, breaking the monotony brought by the large area of light colors. The skirt hem of the lower body is richly layered; the black pleated miniskirt has a nice luster, while the outer white skirt hem reveals a diamond-patterned hollow-out design. When walking, paired with the long pink streamers, it appears incredibly dynamic. The black lace-up platform high heels on my feet also perfectly match the character's overall temperament.
Now let's talk about the magic wand in my hand. Its size and weight both exceeded expectations; raising it with one hand during the shoot definitely required some arm strength. The purple sphere at the top of the wand possesses a crystal-clear texture, which, combined with the silver-white crescent decoration and golden base, is highly eye-catching under the light.
The environment for this shoot was set up with an amazing ambiance. Deep red velvet curtains, a black-and-white checkerboard floor, paired with purplish-red background lighting create a sensation where magic and vintage interweave. The room also features a black upright piano, a vintage globe, an old-fashioned typewriter, and a grandfather clock—props that greatly enhance the narrative quality of the frame. I tried different movements in front of the lens, including standing, sitting, and lifting one leg. The standing pose better showcases the length of the wand and the drape of the skirt hem, while the posture sitting on the piano stool is more relaxed, perfect for displaying the character's quiet and elegant side. The entire shooting process went very smoothly, and the light and shadow texture in the final photos is fantastic, vividly presenting this character within a real-scene setup. For me, it was a highly joyful shooting attempt in Cosplay photography.
