[Furina cosplay] Between the Sea and Flowers, Catching the Shape of the Wind

This time, an open scene of a flower sea and blue sky was chosen for the outdoor shoot to showcase Furina's skirt design. The blue gradient layers of this costume are quite rich, transitioning from light blue to deep ocean blue. The drape and luster of the light tulle change under different lighting conditions; during an outdoor shoot, the way the skirt unfolds needs to be adjusted according to the wind direction and sunlight angle.

The candid capture in Figure 3 is one I'm personally quite satisfied with. The wind happened to blow up the skirt and hair strands, and the blue-and-white color scheme echoes the background white clouds and clusters of flowers. During the shoot, a wide-angle lens was used to bring out the vastness of heaven and earth, with the wild flowers in the foreground serving as a blurred embellishment, focusing the visual center of the frame on the character's posture. The curvature of the wig and the position of the hair accessories were also specifically adjusted to match the visual proportions of the character's head in this Genshin Impact cosplay presentation.

Regarding costume preparation, travel portability and scene adaptability were the main considerations. The skirt hem was not made too heavy, making it easy to walk and turn around on the grass. As for the makeup part, to suppress the skin tone contrast under intense sunlight, the focus was on using cool-toned highlighters for transitions, keeping the lines of the eye makeup soft to avoid looking sharp.

The entire shooting process was very joyful; this flower sea and the distant coastline gave the whole frame a sense of narrative. The character Furina herself carries a dramatic temperament. Standing in this vast nature, without needing too many complex movements, the emotion naturally surfaces the moment the skirt flies up.

I hope every mindful preparation can leave a satisfying record, which also counts as an expression and understanding of the character through Cosplay photography in this Genshin Impact universe.
