When shooting this Da Qiao Power of protection look, I mainly focused on how to make the poses more energetic and faithful. As mentioned in the post, posing isn't my strong suit, so I gathered some pose references to embody both the lightness of the original skin and a sense of visual tension. The outfit is predominantly white and green with lots of translucent sheer tulle. The chest bow and neckline designs are delicate, requiring careful adjustment and good posture to look sharp. Paired with long socks on the legs (printed with the English word "PROTECTION") and white tall boots, the visually elongated effect is fantastic, so I intentionally did several leg-lifting, striding, and seated poses during the shoot to highlight the leg lines and overall body proportions of this outfit.

The photographer set up a clean, pure white backdrop accented with white flowers and a wrought-iron arch, which perfectly matched the fresh, healing vibe of Power of protection. To enrich the compositions, I experimented with multiple gestures on set: holding up a white rose, resting a hand on my hip in profile, pushing glasses up onto my head, holding the headphone prop in one hand, or lounging in a white wrought-iron chair for a casual look. When pulling off these poses, hand control is crucial—tossing the sheer fabric naturally while managing facial expressions, as a guardian character's gaze should stay clear and gentle without being stiff.

Post-processing focused on a high-key, luminous aesthetic while preserving texture details. While the movements look simple, communicating angles with the photographer to prevent the skirt from looking bulky or dragging took considerable effort. In camera framing, we aimed to emphasize design highlights—like placing the legs gracefully when seated to keep a smooth curve while showing off the lettered socks. Teaming up with headphones or standing beside the flower trellis easily builds atmosphere, avoiding awkward static poses. This shoot provided valuable pose insights, which I hope serve as practical inspiration for anyone cosplaying this skin to capture a lively and subtly charming 2D atmosphere.
