[Sparkle cosplay] Honkai: Star Rail Magician costume Girl's Arcade photography Check-in

This time, in order to cosplay Sparkle from Honkai: Star Rail well, I made a lot of preparations in terms of costume and props. The overall costume is dominated by red and black, supplemented by a large amount of white ruffles. The top features an off-shoulder design, and the wide cuffs have a strong draping feel, printed with rabbit and playing card suits, with golden bells and red tassels dangling at the edges, creating a noticeable swaying motion when walking. A plush rabbit doll with goggles hangs around the waist, paired with a leather belt and thigh straps, plus a pair of black platform Marten boots, adding a cool and dashing vibe on top of cuteness. The wig consists of silver-white twin tails, with some hair braided into pigtails to increase layering, topped with a tilted black mini top hat featuring white rabbit ears and a red bow. In terms of makeup, I deliberately wore red contact lenses and painted red dotted makeup under the outer corners of my eyes to restore the character's features.
The shooting location this time was chosen as an arcade, where the black and white checkerboard floor tiles and colorful claw machines happened to create a strong visual collision with the color scheme of this costume. To match the cool and warm color tones of the on-site neon lights, the photographer did some processing on the side-backlighting to make the contours clearer. Holding a few playing cards in my hand as interactive props, in terms of action design, I tried poses such as holding the brim of the hat with one hand, covering my face with playing cards, squatting next to the machine, or grabbing the railing. These actions were not only to showcase the details of the costume, but also to fit the character's confident state mixed with a bit of mystery. Because the skirt hem is relatively short, coupled with the decoration of leg rings, I needed to pay attention to the amplitude when squatting to avoid accidental exposure while maintaining the tension of the frame. The layering of this outfit is very strong, and the waist-cinching design and belt visually elongate the proportions nicely, so even when squatting or sitting, the overall styling doesn't look bloated.
The indoor temperature on the shooting day was moderate, but to catch the light and shadow of certain specific angles, I still changed locations back and forth quite a bit. The wide sleeves would reflect light under the claw machine's lights, producing a different texture. To make the twin tails look more natural, I constantly adjusted the angles to prevent hair from hitting my face and affecting my expressions. From preliminary preparation to completion, every single link of this set of photos tried its best to fit the original character's traits. I hope everyone can feel the character's unique temperament through this set of photos.
