[Clorinde Cosplay] Genshin Impact: Sharing Fitting Photos of Four Fontaine Characters

This fitting photoshoot set for Genshin Impact's Fontaine characters features four distinct looks. Involving different hair colors, contact lens shades, and costume structures, the makeup and styling workload for the entire day was quite massive, yet the final results were immensely satisfying. After receiving the outfits, I trimmed and tailored them according to character artwork; stepping into makeup fully highlighted the nuanced differences in each character's temperament. The contact lens colors were selected to match their respective lore—some cool-toned, others warmer—which, paired with different eyeliner techniques, conveyed entirely distinct gazes. As for the wigs, I specifically used hair wax and setting spray to add volume and texture, striving to align the flowing strands with their dynamic in-game models.

Starting with Clorinde cosplay, her purple-blue coat and small black top hat faithfully match her original design, exuding a sharp uniform aesthetic. To emphasize her capable, resolute demeanor, the eye makeup was deepened. The most time-consuming task was styling her blue hair; with its complex layering, it required meticulous combing to achieve bangs that looked flowing without turning messy. The prop in hand was also repositioned multiple times relative to camera angles to ensure it harmonized beautifully with the costume design within the frame.

Lynette Cosplay, on the other hand, feels much lighter. Her short hair paired with white animal ears features a delicate signature black star detail embedded in the eye makeup. The bow on her chest and the cross-shaped brooch enhance the costume's structural depth; under the shopping mall's natural lighting, the interplay of blue and brown gave the outfit a lively energy on camera. Snapping phone selfies made it easier for me to relax; the realistic animal ears were high quality without feeling heavy on my head.

Furina cosplay utilized the softest lighting effects during studio shooting. Her white short hair with blue-and-white gradient tips and the signature ahoge strand atop her head required generous setting spray to lock into place. The dark blue top hat and teardrop-shaped decorative accessories on her coat revealed rich textures under studio illumination. To embrace her character lore, I intentionally slowed down my movements in front of the lens, controlling subtle twitches of my lip corners and eye movements to project an aura both elegant and faintly enigmatic.

Finally, Wriothesley cosplay presented a masculine styling. To fit the character design, I intensified the shading along the brow ridge and jawline, carving out sharper facial contours. The black-and-white short hair similarly featured ear accents, while the high-contrast pairing of a dark coat and red tie injected striking visual tension into the look. Resting my chin on one hand not only showcased glove details but also filled out the composition; I tested several camera angles for this pose to ensure my head-to-shoulder ratio looked balanced on camera.

Although these Fontaine figures share the same Genshin Impact worldview, their temperaments are vastly distinct. While the costume changes were painstaking—from prepping wig caps to attaching every single accessory item—this process is precisely where the magic of cosplay lies. Each outfit represents a unique emotional wavelength, requiring me to ponder their specific gazes and demeanors in different contexts.
