Spent the entire weekend cosplaying Bailu at Anime Star City, opting this time for a complete ensemble pairing a Sailor suit with a pink, blue, and white highlighted wig. The collar of the Sailor suit sat right at the clavicle, framed by black and white stripes to create a clean, refreshing visual profile. To give the hairstyle more dimension, I spent around thirty minutes prepping the wig, locking the bangs in place with styling spray so the pink and blue strands interlaced organically. Adding a touch of glittering hair accessories elevated the cuteness.

Eye makeup was the centerpiece this time: deep red circle lenses paired with clustered false lashes and generous inner-corner highlighting gave my eyes a rounder, luminous presence. Elongating the eyeliner and dusting on peach blush infused the makeup with lively vibrancy. For framing, we explored several distinct angles: the first and second shots used a gentle downward angle, while the third adopted an upward chin tilt, as overhead lighting made the eyes glisten and flattered facial contours.

Regarding composition, because the Anime convention crowds were dense and backdrops cluttered, I stayed close to the lens, relying on tight half-body close-ups to showcase intricate details while cropping out passersby. The Sailor suit fabric had good structure and rarely creased, though the necktie needed to be tied tightly. The Animal ears were made of short faux fur; wearing them for extended hours felt somewhat warm and stuffy, but it was completely worth it for the styling.

This outing mainly involved touring Anime Star City, where the indoor lighting was soft and diffused with no harsh directional glare—ideal for capturing delicate eye makeup details. I used a specialized base routine to prevent shine under commercial hall fixtures. Because the foundation shade leaned fair, extending it down the neck ensured seamless, uniform skin tones.

I highly recommend the combination of a Sailor suit and Animal ears; it is effortless to carry off and yields a high keeper rate for cosplay shots. While spending the weekend on your feet is exhausting, seeing the styling translate into the exact playful charm I envisioned made the entire journey deeply meaningful. Next time I tackle this look, I might test a sharper, more mature eyeliner style to add a sweet-yet-edgy contrast. Overall, this was a rewarding hands-on trial that offered great takeaways in fine-tuning makeup nuances and working with diverse ambient lighting.
