Today I came to the Rumu Phantom Dimension Club at Huaqiang Plaza in Bao'an, Shenzhen, to attend the grand opening crossover event of Soul Land: Reverse Time and Space. As an invited cosplayer guest, I changed early into this white-and-purple spliced fantasy-style outfit, put on a metallic-lustered silver tiara and pink bunny ears, and adjusted the details in front of the mirror. The tailoring of this outfit fits the body very well; the hollow-out design at the waist and the metal decorations at the collar have great three-dimensionality. Although the skirt hem is long, the fabric has a wonderful drape when moving, and paired with white tights, the overall wearing experience feels quite lightweight.
The event site was arranged with great care, featuring a huge themed promotional display stand in the mall atrium, while surrounding shelves were packed with various exquisite merchandise. Taking advantage of the time before the event officially started, I took a tour around the merchandise area. The variety of merchandise here is exceptionally rich, ranging from badges and cards to standees and blind boxes, everything you could possibly want. What surprised me the most was the price—the cost performance is truly incredible, and many styles that are hard to find elsewhere can be found here. For anyone who loves collecting merchandise, this is definitely a 2D treasure trove worth visiting specifically.
Returning to the front of the booth, I held a pink promotional sign printed with event info and began interacting with fans and players on-site. Many people came over to take photos, and quite a few passing friends curiously asked what kind of event this was. While showing them the cards in my hand, I introduced the event contents on the display stand. Since I usually enjoy researching 2D makeup and styling, I applied a heavier definition to my eye makeup and paired it with dark colored contacts, making the overall look fit the outfit's temperament better. Many fans also exchanged insights on Anime-style fashion and character styling with me during interactions, and this atmosphere made me feel extremely welcome.
Throughout the afternoon, I not only experienced various merchandise products in the store but also shared my love for the work with the players present. The store's interior decoration style has an amazing ambiance, with life-sized standees and screens at the entrance, as well as a comfortable resting area. For people who usually like visiting exhibitions and store tours, the spatial planning and commodity display here are quite reasonable, so browsing doesn't feel crowded at all. The surrounding lighting and arrangement are also very suitable for photography, and photos taken from just about any corner look fantastic.
By evening, as the event drew to a close, I completed my guest check-in task for the day. This experience at the Phantom Dimension Club left a deep impression on me; both the on-site organization and the richness of the merchandise products exceeded my expectations.
