[Black-and-White Leather Style miHoYo Cosplay] Sleek and Full of Temperament

This time around in Wuxi, I'm mainly looking to find local cosplay partners to play miHoYo cosplay with. The standard of photoshoots in the community is becoming increasingly competitive, so finding a partner isn't just about padding headcounts; more importantly, our aesthetic standards and working pace need to be on the same wavelength. That's why I'm laying out my requirements upfront in this post. I hope my partner's height without shoes is preferably over 165cm, because with my own styling plus high heels, a large height difference would make the camera framing and composition look unbalanced. Furthermore, I prefer adult players, as emotional stability is a crucial factor I value deeply. After all, everyone has a job in real life and pursues hobbies in their spare time; dealing with an emotionally draining or volatile partner can be truly exhausting.

While that might not compare to the top influencers in the community, it still carries a decent level of recognition within the local city scene. Therefore, when choosing a partner, I aim to find friends whose work quality matches mine and who also have a certain follower base. The primary goal of this post is to look for photographers and partners based in or near Wuxi. I bring my own photographer, which guarantees baseline output quality. The series I usually focus on are miHoYo cosplay titles, currently centering on Zenless Zone Zero Cosplay and Honkai: Star Rail cosplay, as I've been cosplaying Genshin Impact less frequently lately.

Take this recently shot black-and-white leather outfit that I felt really great about—the leather fabric accentuates body contours wonderfully. Paired as a black tights outfit with glossy high heels, taking a casual shot under the wooden eaves of a traditional historic corridor as natural light streams down instantly creates immense atmosphere. Detailed accessories, the blue ribbon flower at the collar, and the folding fan in hand were all meticulously handpicked based on the character's traits. Pictures prepared with real heart bring a great sense of accomplishment when moving on to post-processing.

My other looks each presented their own unique challenges. The red-and-white cape paired with a long-handled staff was difficult mainly due to the prop's weight—holding such a heavy item while posing naturally and gracefully, maintaining balance while managing facial expressions, was a genuine test of physical stamina. Meanwhile, another blue-gray techwear jumpsuit infused cyberpunk elements; when shooting by the outdoor lake at dusk, the warm sunset hues collided with the cool tones of the costume to yield a strikingly high-contrast visual effect. Because outdoor lighting shifts so rapidly, we relied heavily on quick tacit understanding between the photographer and myself to capture the moments.

As for the white-and-purple dress, it was paired with an intricate, ornate indoor European set, projecting a soft, sweet, romantic temperament completely different from the previous sets. I am genuinely eager to explore and master outfits across various character styles; from trimming and styling wigs to matching prop details, every appearance feels like deconstructing and rebuilding the character anew.

Right now, I really hope to assemble a solid local team in Wuxi. When our schedules align, we can book studios together or discover unique architectural outdoor locations nearby. If I meet someone who shares the same mindset and is willing to co-create content together, I'd be more than happy to share the hair and makeup time, researching even more interesting concepts jointly.
