From the first moment of putting on this outfit, the texture and layering of the clothing were far more complex than expected. The blue and white color scheme is adorned with large areas of crystals and snowflake elements, and the bright red thin-ribbon bow at the collar serves as a wonderful finishing touch amidst the overall cool color palette. The diamond-shaped holographic ice crystal props on the back reflect various laser-like glusters under the venue's overhead lights and the photographer's fill light, with the light and shadow effects in this photo set beautifully capturing the props' texture. The exhibition hall was actually extremely crowded during the shoot; since it was the second day, the flow of people was even more intense than the first. I'm truly happy that we could find a suitable empty spot in this environment for photographer @Xiao Mian Bao Suo Suo to catch these moments. The skirt hem of the entire costume features multi-layered irregular cuts—the outer layer has a dark blue base with white borders, while the inner layer is breathable white lace, spreading out naturally when walking to give a very fairytale feel. Combined with the blue ribbon decorations in my hands and on my body, I did my best to replicate the agile vibe of a 'girl living in ice crystals.'
For the makeup, very bright light-blue colored contacts were chosen to echo the wig. To fit the character's traits, the makeup shouldn't be too heavy; the base makeup was kept as clean as possible, with a natural light rose-bean paste lip color, and the eye makeup slightly emphasized the curve of the eyelashes so that my gaze could be more focused during close-ups. The hair is a light ice-blue short style with straight bangs. The massive translucent bow on top of the head is the largest accessory in this look; during photo taking, it easily blocked the lens when bowing my head or turning around, but keeping it on the edge of the frame serves as a highly classic characteristic, so I very carefully controlled my head and neck postures throughout the entire shooting process.
Regarding the details of this outfit, although overall very cute, carrying it in reality was actually very tiring—one could even say it was quite a test of physical strength. Those holographic diamond ice crystals on the back look very lightweight, but with the brackets and securing straps, the weight is actually not light. To make the floating sensation in the photos look more natural, I needed to intentionally lean back slightly and puff my chest out when posing, just to keep those ice crystals from looking droopy in the back. To get great photo results, these props on my back truly kept me sweating even when standing and resting. The floor of the BW exhibition venue is that grayish-white concrete; this rough ground instead made the blue and white clothing look even more delicate. I struck several suitable, lively movements, such as that single-leg standing instant in the photo, and the action of pointing forward, trying best to both express the character's confidence and not lose playfulness. Because on site, I completely immersed myself in that environment, whenever someone called out the character's name or wanted to interact, that sense of accomplishment would wash away the physical fatigue.

In fact, every time I participate in such large-scale convention cosplay, the biggest challenge is how to maintain the character's 'state' during interactions with passersby and photographers. During shooting breaks, I would immediately shrink into a corner to tidy up my wig and bowtie, preventing my image from falling apart. Later, when looking at the returned photography, I found that the transition between the wig and the collar was very smooth, which is heavily thanks to @Xiaomaibaosuosu for adjusting my angles multiple times before actually clicking the shutter. Looking back now, although it took a lot of time from putting on the clothes to finishing the makeup, capturing such clear prints in the end makes it completely worth it.
My favorites in this set of photos are those with slightly larger movement ranges, such as raising a leg or holding hands high. Capturing that dynamic nicely transmits the character's lively temperament without looking stiff. The tulle fabric of this costume is actually very easy to get dirty; with the crowded hall, I frequently had to dodge the crowds, otherwise, the white lace could easily get dusty. After a busy day on-site, the costume got quite a bit of dust, but checking the photos later, I felt this authentic convention vibe is also a part of the prints. After all, cosplay is not just about wearing clothes and posing, but is rather an expression of letting yourself become that character in a noisy environment. Professionally speaking, I feel the coordination of makeup, wig, and costume details this time perfectly combined the character's 'coolness' and 'cuteness'. Although it looks highly refreshing in the photos, behind the scenes was truly continuous facial expression management and posture adjustments, hoping to give viewers the most comfortable visual experience. I am truly happy to leave an imprint belonging to this character at BW in this way during this summer. If I shoot this set again in the future, I will probably spend more thought on the firmness of the accessories to let everyone see an even better picture.
