Bringing a giant Manjuu plush and Unicorn to the convention made the photo-collect experience completely different from before. Attending the Haikou YEA Anime convention this time as the organizer's Experience Ambassador involved far more physical activity than casually browsing the floor. Preparing this hair and makeup alone took substantial effort—the long purple wig required constant brushing to prevent tangles, while the crescent moon hair accessory and white floral wreath on my head easily shifted out of alignment while walking, demanding frequent touch-ups throughout the venue. The dress features abundant lace and ruffles, especially that lengthy, bouffant purple train, which required constant vigilance so passing attendees wouldn't step on it. Today I wore White stockings and white high heels; to present optimal body proportions in front of the lens, I maintained proper posture even during downtime, which I consider part of the fundamental professional ethic of a cosplayer.

Image 5 features a pose specifically worked out with the photographer: the angle of crossing my ankles and the grip strength around the oversized plush were fine-tuned across multiple takes. Although holding that massive yellow doll was exhausting, it proved remarkably effective as a flattering prop and an eye-catching visual anchor. The convention's overhead downlights and glossy floor reflections were undeniably challenging, requiring me to constantly adjust my footing to discover flattering angles. Image 3 was captured with a friend I bumped into—our positioning inside the frame complemented each other seamlessly; her black-and-white look created a balanced chromatic clash against the blue backdrop. When posing for group photos on stage, we had to coordinate with the staff's instructions while acknowledging the crowd below, an official segment that added rich depth to the convention experience.

Having people line up to collect photos with me was a wonderful feeling. While it felt overwhelmingly busy, looking into everyone's excited eyes was truly touching. The postcards I gave out were carefully prepared, and seeing attendees take them to collect stamps or personally thank me brought an immense sense of accomplishment. Missing out on the yasal autograph was a minor disappointment, but luck was on my side and I managed to secure an autograph from my beloved Gulu Bao, making the whole trip worthwhile. I not only enjoyed the thrill of roleplay, but also felt that intangible connection between creators and the audience.

On the convention floor, to keep every detail intact, I frequently checked my wig and outfit to ensure crowded aisles didn't knock accessories loose or snag my tights. White stockings truly test light diffusion in an environment with such complex lighting, and the subtle color shifts of the purple train under shifting light were delightful to observe. Returning to the break area, my legs were aching intensely, yet that sense of fulfillment is something you never experience in daily life. Image 1 was a candid snapshot taken during a break, capturing a surprisingly natural, dynamic charm. A full day of activities gave me a deeper understanding of what happens both on and off stage at an Anime convention; being embraced by so many people is a precious memory well worth a whole day spent standing on my feet.
