This photoshoot was staged within an abandoned industrial warehouse, where the raw industrial ruin atmosphere perfectly resonated with the dystopian wasteland vibe of Cyberpunk 2077 and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. In terms of costume styling, a glossy black patent leather top was paired with an off-white cropped jacket slipping off the shoulders, while the lower half featured white shorts with tactical webbing, grey over-the-knee Stockings cosplay accents, and tall black combat boots. To faithfully capture Lucy's cold, aloof temperament in this Lucy cosplay, the hair and makeup featured a silvery-white wig with pastel-pink dip-dyed ends, paired with crimson eyeshadow and red contact lenses. For posing, I deliberately steered clear of overly delicate gestures, opting instead to lean against railings, cross my arms, or casually brush back a lock of hair—using angular body lines to project the sharp vigilance and detachment of someone living on the ragged edge.
Lighting the set was both a major challenge and a standout highlight. The factory floor itself was dark and shadowy, so we deployed substantial ambient lighting with contrasting red and blue tones, with a red neon 'WARNING' sign in the background serving as an arresting visual focal point. During shooting, I consciously framed rusty steel beams and chain-link fencing into the foreground. Combined with wide-angle, low-angle shots, hard directional lighting cast crisp specular highlights across the patent leather outfit and stockings, sharply sculpting body curves. To flatter the leg lines before the camera, I constantly shifted my center of gravity, angling my torso slightly and leveraging the platform soles of the tall boots to elongate visual proportions. Every shutter click required coordinating with the lighting technician to fine-tune facial angles, ensuring facial contours remained sharply defined against the intricate background in this Anime-style photography session.
The yellow caution tape and radioactive hazard placards scattered across the set served not only as authentic props but also enriched the narrative depth of the imagery. Climbing up and down the iron scaffold staircases in this gear to calibrate diverse poses was physically demanding—especially with over-the-knee stockings and tactical harnesses prone to shifting, requiring constant readjustments between takes. Yet seeing the cinematic interplay of neon glow and cold, hard steel in the final images made all the effort worthwhile. A project leaning into techwear and wasteland cyberpunk aesthetics demands seamless unity across fabric textures, set authenticity, and lighting ambiance. I hope this visual showcase immerses everyone into that perilous, captivating cyber realm.
