This shoot plan was for Misaki from Blue Archive, and a lot of thought went into early preparations to achieve the ideal visual outcome. Misaki's hairstyle is highly recognizable; I prepared a dark blue long wig in advance, personally trimmed the bangs and sideburns, coiled the double buns on both sides, and left two long strands of hair naturally draping down. The volume on top of the head is crucial, so plenty of styling products were used before shooting. It also took quite some time to find the fitting blue-and-black butterfly hair accessory; once put on, the overall completion of the styling instantly leveled up.

For clothing, I chose a basic JK uniform set. The white shirt was selected in a slightly looser cut, with sleeves slightly rolled up for comfortable movement and to project that casual underclassman feel. The tie was chosen with dark blue diagonal stripes, echoing the color of the dark blue pleated skirt perfectly. The pleats on the skirt have great texture, but the hem spreads out when sitting down, so I had to mind and smooth out the folds' direction continuously while posing. Over-the-knee White stockings paired with dark brown flat leather shoes create a classic look. The over-the-knee stockings elongate the leg lines nicely on camera, though the tops of the socks needed occasional adjustment to prevent uneven height between both legs.

The shooting location was set in a highly realistic classroom equipped with a wooden podium, desks, chairs, and a blackboard. The chalk writings on the blackboard and the calendar on the podium were on-site props. In photo 2, leaning against the podium, I shifted my center of gravity to the left leg and lightly crossed my right leg; this pose visually extends the leg proportions while giving the pleated skirt's silhouette more dimension. Photo 4, sitting on a chair, is a personal favorite: I tried stretching with both hands raised upward, and the photographer captured that candid moment. This action highlights the shirt's shoulder lines, while the raised leg posture showcases the lines of the White stockings, creating an open and relaxed composition.

The shoot ran into small challenges, such as rapidly shifting natural light in the classroom, requiring extra fill light at certain angles to preserve translucent skin texture. To better align with the character, I intensified the red tones under the eyes and at the outer corners, adding a nice mood to the lens. From tweaking the hairstyle and coordinating the outfit to discussing poses with the photographer on-site, the entire process was physically demanding, but seeing the final photos faithfully restore the character's persona brings a profound sense of accomplishment.
