Shooting this set of Lunar New Year Kisaki photos, the core objective was to present a New Year's greeting illustration that both carries traditional festive vibes and fits the character's personality. After getting the final photos, there are many details I'd love to chat about with everyone. Regarding the selection of this outfit, we picked for a long time, and the final choice of this white modified short cheongsam can be said to be the core highlight. The fabric of the dress has a delicate gloss and subtle patterns, with top-tier texture. The red piping along the edges is very exquisite, outlining the overall silhouette. The red criss-cross tie at the neckline, combined with the draping tassel hair accessories and the lace trim on the hem, balances out the mature feel that a cheongsam itself might give off, adding the unique agility of an anime character.

In particular, the combination of stockings and shoes can be called the essence of the whole look. The semi-sheer black stockings and white pointed high heels form a strong color contrast visually. Not only does it echo the premium feel of the red, black, and white color scheme, but it also greatly elongates the leg lines visually, making the body proportions look more slender. This way of wearing black stockings with white shoes is actually very difficult in real-world fashion, but in the context of cosplay, it perfectly restores the sophistication and subtle sexiness of the character's design.

The shooting location was chosen to be this antique Chinese-style tatami room. The wooden textures, the white plush rug, the hollowed-out lattice windows in the background, and the hanging gauze curtains all work together to create a private yet elegant New Year atmosphere. The photographer @A-Shuai A-Shuai Araw_ is exceptionally skilled at capturing the softness of light and shadow. He combined natural light with softbox equipment to make the subtle patterns on the white cheongsam shimmer faintly, while also giving the black stockings a great reflective sheen under the light. The entire shoot was incredibly smooth, and it didn't take long to get into the zone.

I've always felt that a good cosplay photo is not just about mimicking a character's appearance, but capturing their soul. Therefore, during the shoot, I tried my best to blend this multifaceted personality into my poses and expressions. Whether holding a roll of bright red couplets or quietly sitting with the pipa, I tried to make the audience feel that 'Kisaki truly exists.' Having done cosplay for so many years, each deep understanding of a character gives me more confidence in front of the camera.

The festive atmosphere of the Spring Festival, paired with this highly recognizable national-style look, will hopefully bring everyone a sense of visual satisfaction. There isn't too much post-processing decoration; it relies more on the genuine presentation of costumes, makeup, and props, along with the ambiance brought by light and shadow.
