The costume used for this photoshoot was packed with intricate details, centering on a primary palette of white, black, and red. The bow tie and lace cuffs on the top, paired with gold thread embroidery along the skirt hem, as well as the pink bunny charm and tassels hanging from the belt, created a fantastic harmony when assembled together. Because the character features pink hair and long bunny ears, the makeup placed special emphasis on eye shading and smudging, which, paired with pale blue contact lenses, gave the gaze a more spirited, focused look.

The combination of Black stockings and high heels with platform ankle boots was the most flattering part of the styling for elongating leg lines, catching the studio lighting with beautiful texture. However, the boots were quite stiff, leaving my ankles rather sore after standing for extended periods. The prop greatsword was the centerpiece of the shoot: the blade was exceptionally long and detailed with subtle luminous effects and cherry blossom motifs. It was remarkably heavy to hold, heavily testing wrist support and arm strength during dynamic posing. Because the overall set made extensive use of red oil-paper umbrellas, shoji doors, and crimson lanterns, the vibrant red backdrop made the character pop dramatically. The floor's mirror-like reflection was deliberately arranged by the photographer, producing gorgeous reflections; we captured several seated poses leaning against a wooden platform where the sword mirrored across the water-like surface, significantly enhancing the spatial depth of the composition.

In addition to the greatsword, I paired the look with a white traditional paper umbrella. Holding the umbrella open while standing under maple trees allowed the lines of the Black stockings and the skirt to flow more gracefully. The set also incorporated fun, quirky props like a Maneki-neko lucky cat poster on the wall and a milk tea cup set to the side, which served as great interactive elements to soften the atmosphere and introduce a touch of casual life. Mid-shoot, the lighting technician adjusted the intensity of the red ambient lights multiple times to ensure skin tones didn't look overly darkened or muddy. As someone passionate about cosplay photography, I feel that despite the complex details of this outfit, pairing it with the right lighting and scenery flawlessly showcased the character's unique presence. Producing this set was primarily to celebrate completing my Elation team in Honkai: Star Rail—serving as a personal treat and a record of a delightful collaboration with the photographer.
