The theme of this photoshoot was developed around the "pet abandonment" meme. While it was about setting Mon3tr free, Kal'tsit's inherently guarded and restrained personality makes this farewell feel especially poignant. Therefore, the facial expression in the photos remains composed, yet the eyes needed to convey the sorrow of being cast aside—a subtle, hidden facet of her character.

To capture this delicate balance, I chose a tight facial close-up composition to effectively amplify the emotional depth of the gaze. For hair and makeup, I wore high-saturation Green eyes contact lenses paired with a dark green long wig and black ornamental horns, all chosen to recreate the character's austere nature. During shooting, I immersed myself in internal monologue, repeating to myself that phrase: "If you think abandoning a little kitten is fine," gradually channeling that suppressed feeling of grievance.

The post-processing plan was another key highlight of this creative piece. I intentionally drew blue cartoon tear lines on both cheeks and added that crying black cat sticker. While it might look like a playful parody, it visually conveys Mon3tr's sense of being discarded. When retouching, I deliberately avoided excessive skin-smoothing to preserve natural skin textures, making it feel more grounded and true to the character's essence.

From preparation to completion took considerable time. First, because this styling features many sharp components, angles had to be constantly adjusted on set to avoid poking myself or scratching the outfit. Selecting the Green eyes contacts was another challenge—ensuring color fidelity while preventing excessive eye fatigue. Fortunately, the final shots came very close to my initial vision.

The details of this Anime cosplay photoshoot extended well beyond hair and makeup; subtle movements and micro-expressions were equally vital. To embody that bittersweet, helpless emotion, I experimented with different eye expressions repeatedly. Balancing the dignified authority of a leader with a trace of underlying heartache was genuinely challenging. The crying black cat sticker alongside the tear doodle subtly hints at this inner conflict.

I chose this specific shot as the cover because its composition communicates character information instantly. The subject fully commands the center of the frame without distracting clutter, and the Green eyes paired with tear trails immediately evoke empathy from the viewer. In post-production, I also prioritized color harmony—the cool-toned background contrasted against warmer skin tones, emphasizing the character's uniqueness.

Every time I cosplay, I strive to bring viewers a fresh perspective. For this character, I hoped to convey her aloof, solitary composure alongside the complex softness deep within her heart. This farewell scene with the feline companion felt like a prolonged psychological drama, making it truly captivating. Depending on who views this photo, each person can feel different layers of the character's inner world.
