"We are merely performers, there's no need to take it seriously." But since I chose to stand in front of the lens, I still hope to accurately reproduce Lynette's calm and composed temperament. This set of photos was mainly shot in a vintage-styled Korean café and a Christmas-themed set. Combined with prop interactions, it aims to present the character's light, agile, and unique circus magician style atmosphere.

Let's talk about the styling first. The details of this costume are incredibly rich. The deep blue diamond-patterned fabric carries a subtle, matte sheen, which, paired with the gold piping and chain decorations, creates a classical fairy-tale texture. The inner piece is a pure white lantern-sleeve shirt with exquisite embroidered textures on the cuffs, combined with a dark brown ruffled necktie and a central pearl button at the collar, forming a restrained yet gorgeous sense of layering in terms of color. The prints on the skirt hem are also very interesting; silhouettes of black cats, birdcages, and stars are interspersed perfectly, aligning flawlessly with the character's mysterious yet slightly lazy setting.

The makeup and wig are also top priorities for this cosplay photoshoot. This silver-white long hair was styled with rich layers and perfectly cut bangs, with a fine braid on one side to add a touch of daily life. The small blue top hat at the crown, paired with a structure resembling elf/rabbit ears and layered with black bows and dangling bead chains, gives the overall head weight a perfect balance. For the makeup, I specifically chose purple contact lenses to match the setting. The red five-pointed star mark under her left eye is the crowning touch. During the shoot, just tilting my face slightly or lowering my eyes instantly pushed that "magician" aloofness and mystery to the max.

We also put a lot of thought into the props. The green latte art beverage held in the first photo fits the afternoon café vibe perfectly, adding a great sense of daily life. The vintage small handbag held in the middle features a dark green ribbon and a pearl handle, boasting excellent texture. Finally, the playing cards in the close-ups took me quite a while to manipulate in my hands; they are not just props in the photos, but also a bridge for interaction between myself, the camera, and the audience, giving the entire frame the dynamic feel of a "performance in progress."

The shoot venue provided a massive playground for the photos. The indoor set in the first half, featuring a vintage wooden chest of drawers and a wavy mirror frame with red ribbons, beautifully built a backdrop for a fantasy story. In the second half, we transitioned to the Christmas tree set, where a huge Christmas tree was hung with red baubles and warm light strings, surrounded by white wooden fences. The lighting hit my face softly and brightly, perfectly delivering the warm winter atmosphere.

The photographer's perspective and snapshots were extremely precise, and in post-processing, we adjusted some contrasts to preserve the velvet texture of the costume and the transparency of the skin. For this kind of photo that transitions between the 2D world and the 3D world, keeping the character's traits while avoiding looking too fake is a hard balance to strike. Fortunately, I am highly satisfied with the final photos. I hope everyone can feel that serene yet tense fairy-tale magic that I tried to convey through these images.
