[Fischl cosplay] Genshin Impact: Prinzessin der Verurteilung Descends at Anime Convention

From the moment I put on this Fischl costume, I was determined to embody the aura of the Prinzessin der Verurteilung.

First, about the costume: the classic purple and black color scheme incorporates lightweight magical girl elements. The light purple bow at the neckline is cute, but the black star-shaped cutout decoration on the chest and the mesh lace structure across the upper body impart a mystical, dark feel. The asymmetrical sleeve design is the biggest highlight of this outfit—one side features a skin-toned long sleeve with golden patterns, while the other side is a fluffy deep purple ruffled sleeve. This asymmetry strongly reinforces the character's traits.

Now for the wig: this Twintails hairstyle required meticulous styling. To make the top of the head look voluminous and natural, I added hidden padding inside so the pigtails don't just hang flat, but carry tension that matches Fischl's tsundere and confident persona. The two small purple gem ornaments on the hair rings were faithfully recreated as well.

Regarding makeup, I adjusted the lash density and the upward angle of the eyeliner, pairing them with mixed-race-style blue-green contact lenses to convey that \"chuunibyou\" yet noble vibe. The slight blush under the eyes was also part of the overall makeup look, emphasizing a touch of magical charm belonging to the Prinzessin.

This high-contrast lighting added extra theatrical tension and stage presence to the character in this Cosplay photography.

I personally love the first photo where I'm sitting with crossed legs. Posing with hands on hips and legs crossed is a classic display of confidence in character recreation. Tall leather boots act as the highlight of the lower body, retaining European vintage texture without sacrificing practicality or style. The purple square buckles on the boots and the tights combination make the leg lines pop.

Returning to the character herself, Fischl's tsundere nature and penchant for blurting out strange lines are quite challenging for a cosplayer. Before the lens, you can't be completely solemn, nor overly casual. I tried to infuse the \"Prinzessin's\" elegance into my poses while keeping that touch of stubbornness and confidence unique to Fischl in my eyes. The pose with my hand near my chin and lips was an attempt to capture that reflective, chuunibyou-tinged mindset.

Though the shoot was physically tiring—as posture and poses required constant tension to present the costume at its best—seeing the final shots made it all worthwhile. These Convention photos carry minimal post-processing, preserving the raw, authentic feel of the convention venue. My raw makeup and costume look exceptionally faithful under this lighting.

Attempting to recreate her isn't about blindly copying anime tropes, but experiencing the unique charm behind the character. From design to stitching and every adjustment when putting it on, every detail felt like a dialogue with her. As a classic character in Genshin Impact, while there are many memes around her, standing at the venue in her outfit still makes you feel that explosive chuunibyou energy.

Convention environments really test a cosplayer's mindset—passersby on the walkways, rushed players, every backward glance or casual movement might be captured on camera. I actually enjoy these candid snapshots; without rigid poses, they reveal the character's natural feel.

No complex props were prepared for this shoot; the focus remained entirely on costume accuracy and expressive demeanor. I've always believed that great cosplay isn't just about gear, but whether the model can truly embody that soul. Sitting on the prop chair with feet crossed, I felt as if I truly became the Prinzessin from another world.
