Finally, these Phrolova convention photos are edited and ready. Wuthering Waves' character costume designs have always been highly recognizable, and this time I prepared the red-and-white color scheme outfit. In terms of costume structure, what required the most effort for this outfit is the complex strap design and layering around the waist. The white bandeau top on the upper body and the red three-dimensional floral decoration on the chest form a strong color contrast, while the irregularly cut red skirt on the lower body and the long ribbons hanging from the waist require very precise fixation to ensure they won't scatter when walking. To fit the character's temperament, the wig was chosen as a silver-white blunt-bangs short hair styling, with a strand of long hair left on the left side as decoration. In terms of makeup, the focus was placed on red-toned eye makeup, paired with a relatively detached facial expression to create that sense of alienation. Taking convention photos at the convention site actually tests lighting and candid shooting capabilities; the lighting at the top of the venue is quite messy, so when finding angles, one must try to avoid large areas of shadows falling on the face. To showcase the dynamism of the costume, I designed some poses this time with arms raised high and body stretched out. The red prop in my hand and the long ribbons around my waist only present the most natural state during rapid movement and turns. For this, I ran back and forth in the venue several times, adjusting the angle of arm exertion, striving to make the arc of the ribbons look sharp enough. Black stockings paired with red heeled short boots echo the overall red-and-white main color scheme in color, while further embellishing the visual proportions of the legs. Although standing in these heeled boots for a long time can be quite tiring, I persisted for the sake of the overall styling's integrity. The difference between convention photos and studio shoots lies in the uncontrollable environment; one needs to quickly adapt to the surrounding light and crowds, finding the exertion point for each action. Judging from the final photos, the dynamic candid shot effect met expectations, and both the costume details and action tension were completely preserved.
